Their Response:
An active and interactive group, willing to participate in discussions and activities, response very positive, would be willing to do the same type of workshop in the future
Fav part:
All
games and activities
free hug video
how HIV is transmitted
statistics on present situation of HIV (no of new cases in malaysia, worldwide...)
Obstacles:
we were a bit confused at arrival because we could not contact Mdm Anis initially. But after the help of the reception, things ran quite smoothly with teachers welcoming us and students volunteering in helping us set up.
The school has all the necessary equipment including screen, space for games and projector. We only need to bring laptop and speakers.
No. of badges sold: 12
How the interns felt:
The interactive group made the workshop very enjoyable. Teachers were very supportive and they also attended the sessions themselves. Students were also very willing to buy the badges, take flashcard photos or take part in every activity. Students are generally cooperative and engaging.
Most students mentioned in the e forms that they like all parts of the workshop and nothing needs to be changed further albeit a few suggesting more games and videos would make the whole presentation more interesting.
All in all, the workshop was well-received and we would be willing to do the same kind of workshop with the same type of students again.
