A little sharing : Iftar at Pengasih :)

Event : Majlis berbuka puasa (Iftar)

Venue : Pengasih Bukit Tunku, KL

Pengasih is one of the NGO that help with Drug prevention, Intervention and Rehabilitation Therapeutic Community TC ,
I've heard about this NGO before but i never know what they are doing specifically . Being a member in Red Ribbons myself taught me on a lot of things . I started to know few NGOs and contacting them by doing random cold calling .  I've tried to contact Pengasih . At first it was just a planned for a visit  . After going through some procedure to do the appointment then Pengasih agreed with our visit in fact they invite us to join their event . We feel so happy and excited , more than  happy when i've met with Encik Jaafar who is the Health Director of Pengasih .

Before we reach the place, we got lost even the taxi driver don't know the map that we are showing . Finally we manage to reach before the event started :)

 This is our second visit for Iftar event, we are all pro about the road and no longer lost hehe :p . About 4 interns joining the event together and i think this is one of the great way to share with them our culture . Our new director of Red Ribbons Tiara Hassan is very commited and excited . I invited my friend as well because i want to share with them how good and friendly the Pengasih family .  By this time we choose to wear "baju kurung" our Malay traditional wear .

About one hour we all stucked in the jammed , finally we managed to reach there at 7pm . It was good that all our interns enjoy the local food . They love it !! There are a lot of foods  and activities there . They are having a pre-raya session . The local media also get involve with the event . Can you imagine how big this event was ? hehe . Lucky that we didn't spoil it by choosing wrong attire like last time . 

It was such a nice day together with the intens at Pengasih :)  If anyone interested to do a visit and do volunteering work there kindly contact them . They will accept you with an open heart .

It was such a good experience and glad that we could share it

with our interns Jessica(UK),Yan Jun(China), Carol(China) and Ayumi(Japan)  . 

I hope you guys always remember the great time we had in Malaysia =)
